Brittany + Eric,
I’ve written a ton of different intros for this blog post and deleted most of them. They just don’t do enough justice. Thanks so much for everything. Thank you for taking a chance. Thank you for loving film. Thank you for being the most badass couple ever. Thank you for being such amazing people especially the day of the wedding. Thank you for loving beer. Thank you for loving incredible music and design work. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into your wedding. Thank you for the emails from Africa. Thank you again so much for letting me shoot your big day.
Sincerely,
Jamie
PS. Thank you to Joshua Gull for being one amazing second shooter and putting me to shame (and making me rethink going back to digital…for a second)
the band Bottle Up and Explode played at the ceremony so i took some photos for them.
My buddy Josh and i hung out while i was trying to shoot some Kodak Portra 160 at sunset. Lesson learned. Don’t shoot Kodak Portra 160 at sunset unless you have the steadiest hands in the world. Here are two from the roll that i liked a lot.
My family (minus my awesome middle brother Bryant + his wife Katie) came to Nashville for Thanksgiving. I invited some friends over with some of their families and had a great time.
When Matt from I+W mentioned me taking photos of their first “Pistons & Pints” party i was super stoked. Â Imogene+Willie is my favorite store. Â The party was a blast. Â I hung out with some great people, including one of my really good friends Steve Moakler. Â I drank some great beer (too much) and ate some incredible Mas Tacos. Â I only wish i had more sunlight. Â I threw in two rolls of Kodak Portra 800 and shot as much as i could before the sun went down. Â Please check out Imogene + Willie, hands down the best denim on the planet.
